Dear Friend of the Christian Action League,
A little more than a week ago, I sent out a Special Alert informing our folks there were a number of empty dates for speaking engagements at churches available on my calendar. Since that time, most of those dates have been booked. Two, however, remain on the calendar to be filled. The dates that remain include:
September
Sunday, September 17
October
Sunday, October 15

For those interested in scheduling a date further in advance, there are a number of dates available in November and December. They are:

Sunday, November 19
Sunday, November 26
December
All Sundays in December

Finally, some churches may be interested in holding a Social Issues Conference. A Social Issues Conference is similar to what a Revival is for many churches, but the emphasis is on equipping Christians with the information needed regarding some of the great social issues of our day. Here's a list of suggested messages that could be covered, depending on how many days the Conference would include:
- Finding Purpose and Meaning (What the Bible says about the Christian and his/her involvement in the political process)
- What We Really Need to Know About Alcohol (Addresses the problem of alcohol in our culture and what the Bible teaches about alcohol consumption)
- Abortion: Throwaway Life (Speaks to the issue of the sanctity of human life, specifically the practice of abortion)
- A Biblical Response to Gay Matrimony (A powerful message about homosexuality and gay rights in America and how this affects North Carolina)
- Our Nation's War on Terror (A politically incorrect sermon on the true nature of Islam and the importance of winning the war on terror)
- Gambling and its Consequences (Speaks to the issue of gambling by explaining why gambling is a sin and the consequences of it)
- The Kind of Government We Need (Explains what the Bible says about God's requirements of the State)
For references and further information regarding speaking engagements, look below.
I look forward to hearing from you on this matter in the near future.
God Bless,
Rev. Mark H. Creech
Executive Director

Relevant, Dynamic, Issue-Oriented Preaching
Although he wasn't ordained until he was age 22, he's been preaching since age 15. And when people hear him, they know they've been in the presence of the Lord.
Rev. Mark Creech was a pastor for twenty years before taking the position of Executive Director of the Christian Action League. Having served six churches, his congregants will vouch for his faithful expositions of God's Word. But it was only in the later years of his pastoring that he became greatly concerned with America's moral climate. So he started speaking out.
Soon Rev. Creech was writing a local news column that garnered a lot of attention. A radio broadcast followed. And then there were speaking engagements outside of his church that started to fill his schedule. Rev. Creech says his ministry became high profile because he was the only pastor in his area addressing today's controversial issues from a Christian worldview. But anyone who has ever heard him speak can't deny God's call on his life — everything he says is thoroughly biblical.
No doubt that's why Dr. D. James Kennedy's Center for Reclaiming America awarded Rev. Creech the 1999 Salt and Light Award for Outstanding Pastor in America. Barbara Collier, Field Director for CRA said, "If we could get every pastor in America to do what Rev. Creech is doing we could turn this nation around."
Rev. Creech's messages are relevant, dynamic, evangelistic and issue-oriented.

Here's what some people are saying about his ministry:
"I applaud Rev. Mark Creech for his courageous and influential work for America as the leader of North Carolina's Christian Action League. Mark has refused to sit silently as America's moral foundations are steadily chipped away. By consistently taking his leadership and involvement one step further, Mark is making a powerful difference for Christ in America." - Dr. D. James Kennedy, Founder and President of Coral Ridge Ministries
"From humble beginnings God has raised up Rev. Mark Creech as a voice in the wilderness that is now beginning to touch lives nationwide. We are delighted to have his column, "'The Right Frame of Mind,' on the American Family Association's national Christian newswire. There is no question North Carolina is a safer more wholesome place to live because of the work of the Christian Action League. Under the leadership of Mark Creech, this organization is having a profound effect for family values." – Don Wildemon, Founder and President of the American Family Association
"Christian involvement in the moral life of our nation is a crucial imperative, not an option. While many fine ministries recognize this necessity, I believe the Christian Action League is one of the most effective local organizations in the country in bringing Judeo-Christian values to bear on our nation's life. I am impressed continually by the breadth of involvement of this fine organization and by the astute and godly manner in which Mark Creech directs it. Without reservation, I can say that the call of Jesus to His disciples to be salt and light in their society is admirably fulfilled by Mark and this superb ministry." - Dr. Richard Land, President of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
"Mark Creech and the Christian Action League have been very helpful partners with the State Baptist Convention of North Carolina on moral and ethical issues. Mark is an eloquent and dynamic speaker. He speaks with conviction and passion." - Jim Royston, Executive Director of the State Baptist Convention of North Carolina.
"Mark Creech has evidenced for many years and with strong clarity that he is a man of God with deep Biblical convictions, yet also one of gracious humility, as he exercises his God-given gift of preaching the Word for God's glory. I recommend him for any opportunity of preaching — Sunday supply preaching, revival meetings, Bible conferences, special occasions, etc. You will not be disappointed!" - Dr. Richard Belcher, Director of Pastoral Ministries Program, Columbia International University.
"Mark Creech is a dear friend of mine and tireless worker for our Lord Jesus Christ. When we opposed the introduction of the sale of liquor-by-the-drink in our community, he was nearly indispensable to our efforts. We also had him at our church for a revival meeting and our people loved him. He is a preacher par-excellent. We still have some of his sermons and they are in great demand by our people." — James Cool, Pastor of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, Lincolnton, North Carolina
"Mark Creech is a dynamic speaker with a wonderful mastery of the English language and a powerful message grounded in his profound Christian faith. His speeches are intellectually honest, carefully thought out and moving. Mark has the knack of blending humor, storytelling and scripture into messages that motivate his audiences to act." — Chuck Neely, President of Citizens United Against the Lottery
"When Mark Creech spoke at our church it was like a one day revival. Following the invitation time one of our young men asked those who felt led to help our church address some of the issues Brother Mark shared meet in the fellowship hall following the benediction. To my amazement more than fifty adults skipped their lunch plans and we had a great time that over the months has resulted in our church becoming much more involved in Christian life concerns." - William L. Tomlinson, Pastor of Arlington Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, North Carolina
"Pastor, if you are looking for a man who will speak forth the Word of God with conviction and clarity, I recommend Brother Mark Creech. He will give your people a faithful exposition of the Scriptures. You can trust Mark with your pulpit!" - Jack Marshburn, Pastor of Tar Landing Baptist Church in Jacksonville, North Carolina
"We had Rev. Mark Creech at our church for revival services. Without exaggeration, I believe he's the Charles Haddon Spurgeon of our day. My church has started to experience tremendous growth since his visit." — Rev. Fred Proctor, Pastor of Crabtree Chapel Baptist Church, Spruce Pine North Carolina
"Mark Creech has held a number of seminars for our association. These seminars have been so meaningful and well-done; we've started to ask him back every year now." — Michael Taylor, President of the North Carolina Sheriffs Chaplains Association
"Mark Creech's ability as a speaker has been demonstrated in his sermons given in the General Assembly Chapel. Having also heard him in the church in my hometown, I have been moved by his Holy Spirit inspired sermons. His ability to present the gospel of Jesus Christ and relate it to today's times is a gift that is no question." — Rep. Mitch Gillespie, North Carolina General Assembly
