First and foremost – Consider the child!!!!! Since procreation is obviously not possible between same-sex marriages, then gratifying individual feelings and desires must be the basis of this union. Satisifying selfish and fleeting emotions are definitely not the basis of having children through either artificial insemination or adoption. Consider research that reports that children will be adversely affected if the social structure of marriage is altered to make having both and a father and mother something arbitrary, abnormal or even unnecessary for raising well adjusted children. Children raised by homosexuals are at much greater risk of gender dissatisfaction, gender confusion, suicide, long-term depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, sexual promiscuity, out-of-wedlock pregnancy, and sexually transmitted diseases. Research shows they are also more likely than others (especially others raised by both a father and mother), to become criminals, to abuse drugs, to have poor grades, to be expelled, and to struggle with finding and keeping jobs. Sadly, they are also far more likely to die of maltreatment, or to be sexually abused by a member of their families, than children in households with two biological parents.

I’m still getting over a state senator in the NC legislature being a lesbian? Who are these constituents? If they elect people like this, what do they expect? Naturally these folks have an agenda, and it isn’t Moral. And who losses? Children, as they already have. Children in the schools who have their 4th step parent, go to the teacher, and ask “what’s wrong with Mary?”. They haven’t a clue. Do these voters believe that moral decay doesn’t affect the most vulnerable of society. and then they elect lesbians, who bear children by artificial insemination and fight over the custody of a child? Do these voters care at all for the children of NC? I don’t think so. they are only concerned with their cultural view of society where there are no absolutes, no Biblical foundations. And their decisions reap massive pain and hardship upon the children they will never know. But the irony is, sooner or later they will come to know them through the massive social, emotional, and legal services they will require. Because in the end, they will have to pay for those services through their taxes. You reap what you sow.
